Bar Coding
On mail that you've received, you may have noticed a bar code along the bottom of the envelope. The bar code represents the complete address of the recipient, including proper abbreviations, the nine-digit zip code, and other designations required by the U.S. Postal Service. Gilbert Mail Service can apply bar codes to your outgoing mail to make it compatible with the scanners and other sophisticated equipment being used by the Postal Service. This will get your mail to its destination more quickly, and if used wisely, can also reduce your postage bills.
